I agree, thats truly brilliant news and well deserved, I think its also great that they can pull together such a strong driver line up at short notice too.......I get the feeling that Sergio Rinland and co new Luchinni were never going to get past the scrutineers, so were just waiting for the official word........I hope they get a result and can then sell more cars........Luc Alphand is making noises about using the GM based GT1 corvette motor in LMP1 in a 6.0 format, this car would be ideal.

Planetlemans reports the rebuild of the failed gearbox on car number 21 took
7 hours. Did the team have no assembled spare gearboxes or why took it so long. Audi can change the gearbox in about 15 minutes.

Didn't think you could replace a box any longer? I'm not sure how much rebuilding you can do without it being considered replacement either...

Only thing that cant be changed is the gearbox housing.
