Maybe I need to go to Specsavers but I actually had something in my eye, hence the typo.

Bianchi should get 100% of the votes today. He was doing competitive laps throughout most of the race.

I voted for Daniel Ricciardo because he's aussie, and I'm aussie, well according to the flag on the left it says that I am.

Good drives by several but I voted for JB as he managed (yes aware of Perez incident) to drag car up to a decent finish, and since I am a supporter and no-one else has voted for him.

Nico Rosberg. Voted for the entire weekend. Fast throughout, and during the race never lost his cool.
And a special mention for the Saturday 'incident'. I still feel it was not an accident. But credit where credit is due, it was a masterstroke if it wasn't. Got away with it, and hooked Lewis good and proper. Well done Nico. As for Jules Bianchi, he did nothing but watch others fall of the grid. An inherited 9th after half the grid DNF. Nothing spectacular that deserves the driver of the race. |

I voted for Massa but Bianchi was my second choice. Out of the 4 slow cars, he qualified the highest even though he started last. He had one mistake with his pit stop release but that wasn't entirely his fault, the team gets blame too. And sure, he only got 9th because of other's mistakes but he kept it clean and quick and finished ahead of his teammate and both Caterhams...that deserves an accolade.

At first I thought I must have had something in my eye, but then I saw that Bianchi really was in the points, so I went for him.

I'm still in the mental space that if you're outside the top six - lack back in ye olden times - you're nowhere. And yes, I know attrition, back in the day made it achievable for a slowcoach to reach the top 10.
Still, upon reflection I do appreciate the heroic performance of Bianchi. |

F1 cars are so safe nowadays that it has crossed my mind before that it would be interesting to see how they would get on ****ed. Bernie could propose a champagne pitstop and we could see what lap times they would turn in thereafter. Maybe for the final race?
