So, it looks like we might have first Polish entry.
BM Racing Team (which run Hyundai i30 N TCR in TCR Eastern Europe and FIA CEZ +Polish Racing Championship) is working on a budget to run (I guess) full season with "teenage driver".

So we have 12 cars confirmed, 4 each from Audi, Lynk & Co, & Honda.
Comtoyou - Audi RS3 LMS TCR - Frederic Vervisch
Comtoyou - Audi RS3 LMS TCR - Nathanael Berthon
Comtoyou - Audi RS3 LMS TCR - TBC
Comtoyou - Audi RS3 LMS TCR - TBC
Cyan Racing - Lynk & Co 03 TCR - Thed Bjork
Cyan Racing - Lynk & Co 03 TCR - Yann Ehrlacher
Cyan Racing - Lynk & Co 03 TCR - Yvan Muller
Cyan Racing - Lynk & Co 03 TCR - Santiago Urrutia
Munnich Motorsport - Honda Civic Type R TCR - Nestor Girolami
Munnich Motorsport - Honda Civic Type R TCR - Esteban Guerrieri
Munnich Motorsport - Honda Civic Type R TCR - Attila Tassi
Munnich Motorsport - Honda Civic Type R TCR - Tiago Monteiro
Hyundai is still a question mark after their sulking, but I do think they will come back with the same strength effort to show off the new Elantra after doing some complaining.
We also have a good 5-6 or more cars publicly confirmed to be 'working on it'.
Safe to say itll be a solid grid again
The real question is can the series excite on these tracks? The year on year question...
Nurburging is naturally a spectacle, followed by snoozefest Vila Real.
Aragon had some really fantastic close and hard racing at the end of 2020 so that should be another fun round.
Adria per the comments above is going to be interesting to see how the new layout goes.
Hungaroring is always reasonable, never outstanding.
Inje is going to be another unknown.
China, well if that ends up being Shanghai itll be super dull. I hope for one of the smaller pokier tracks in the country.
Macau. is. a. procession.

From their social media I get the impression Hyundai will return. We will see.
I hope Coronel will race again for Comtoyou Audi.

I am pretty sure the Frenchman will call @Bcarr6 to make 2022 calendar, even if he is right to say that most of WTCR races are boring. Anyway touring car races are boring today as drivers can't bump and grind. If they just touch, it usually creates "bad crash" in the eyes of the stewards. In WTCR the stewards must be paid according to the number of penalties.
