The staggering accelarative power of the thing when it exits the last corner in view...

Another BIG favourite of mine,is this vid of Jacques Lafitte. He's piloting a Ferrari F40LM around the french circuit of Le Mas du clos.
I love the way the dear men just hops in to this 700bhp monster on his docksteps to wrestle a bit with the gearlever to find first...
Unbelievable sounding V8. One can hear the flames poppin'...

Yeh especially the bit where he outbrakes himself at the first Mulsanne chicane, I know I shouldn't but I couldn't help but laugh.

Porsche 956 driven on the old LeMans course. That straight is never ending. It's like Mr. Bell has it pinned for eons!

First lap of 2009 LeMans 24hr race. Very cool to see how quickly the 4 classes spread out. The AMR Lolas sound distinct and the C6R's are easy to pick out too, just awesome. Also, look how close the racing is at the front of the GT2 pack. It's too bad the RSRs had some many issues again, I think that GT2 class would have been a nice battle

What's amazing about this footage is that the "hunk of junk" JLOC Lambo is actually keeping up with the last of the GT2s!

Perhaps its because I'm 15 and childish, but I never get tired of watching Jon Field taking it to the Audis at the beginning of Utah 2008 ALMS. 1:58, thats the pass.
Sorry its modern.
