Freitas not mucking around, #47 might cross the line first but it sounds like there will be a penalty for going too slowly under SC.

Edit - You guessed it ... LMP3 beached now. Looks like the race will end under FCY/SC, much to the delight of the LMP2 fuel-savers.

47 and 81 probably regret not staying out for 1 more lap now.

So far this season, I'd have pointed to ELMS as the one endurance series that hadn't inexplicably lowered its driving standards this year.

Looking to run two LMP2s and two Fords in ELMS on top of two 963s and two Fords in WEC. And Asian LMS. And IMSA.

There's a casual throwaway remark from Christian that they had four 911 GT3 Rs on order but they don't need them now.

I’m guessing the Reid family fund all this motor racing but do they have a family business or something?

I'm thinking those sponsors on the front and folks paying to race spend FAR more than the Reid family spends to race. LMP2 will have paying drivers along with the pro driver coaches and same with the GT3s. LMDh have those pretty stickers on them for a reason

For many years I always assumed it was just a successful Porsche racing team which was mainly funded by the Felbermayr family business. Later through connection with Patrick Dempsey.

With the move to LMDh that made no longer sense.

Probably the family business gives them a strong foundation but most of the bills are paid by customers.
