Is this a one off venture into the erc, or are you likely to do any other rounds?

HrRACING should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I wont be there racing this weekend

More problems, this time engine on the rolling road. As they say in Kerlabo Cest la vie!

They say motorsport is full of lows and highs...if the high is greater than all these lows it going to be one hell of a high...it had better be.

Best of luck to you all, watch out for Andy Knowles, potenital suprise there!

There will def be some French guys up there, Tollemer, Jeanney, Laboulle and/or Paillier. So will be a remarkable achievement to get into the A Final. Fingers crossed for the Brits!

As for a top 6:
Jernberg
Paillier
Isachsen
Hansen
Laboulle
Jeanney

Doran and Proctor to get to the B final, but hope I am proven wrong (and they do better).

Gotta say, am not keen on him at all but superb result for Liam.

Excellent to get front row and setting quickest times is top drawer stuff.

Seems like being on his own away from Dad and their team is working wonders.

I think Liam does very well! It's only his second race, but beating Hansen and front row and FTD: awesome! Who said a couple of years ago the Brits couldn't adapt to ERC circuitry?

Well and look at Jernberg, he has never had such a convincing start op the season. After Larson, Iaschsen and Hansen it would be nice to have another name on top at the end of the season!

Yep, me too would love to see Jernberg winning the 2010 title, after all his years of trying. But that will put me in a catch-22 situation as he told the Swedish press that after winning the title he is going to quit…

Would love Jernberg to win the title after all these years of trying, it would be a shame for him to lift the crown and then quit.
Liams doing well, but I also find it hard to warm to him, his history puts me off.

Great to see a Brit doing so well and long may it continue, although I am another who hasn't warmed to him yet.

I love his driving style (when he's not bumping into others) - fully committed, big drifts, looks like he's having loads of fun. It's the off-track antics that need to be improved (eg, the first live BRC event with Proctor, fights in the paddock etc). He's young, he's got his Dad and Kenny now to help him mature and I hope it continues, cos it's great to see a Brit doing well, and it should make Lydden even more unmissable! Bring it on, just three weeks!!

Yeah, it was the outburst at Lydden with Proctor in full view of the cameras that put me off a bit. Didn't realise he'd been fighting with people as well, as you say Hansen will hopefully knock that out of him. If he's going to continue doing well in Europe and the sport continues to grow he's going to be a bit of an ambassador, hopefully he'll start to realise that. To his credit on the interview he gave he seemed to be trying, which was nice to see. If he manages not to drive into too many people he should have cracked it!

I don't really think Liam has any reputation for driving into people from what i have seen this and last year in ERC events. He has been quite respectful.

In ERC events he has been no different to anyone else really. The worst culprits are Hunsbedt and Eriksson for that.

The only reason I think people don't like Liam is the off track stuff. He works hard yes, but the strops and childish stuff need to stop. But again, in ERC events he hasn't done it in my opinion (as far as I know) and his driving so far has been faultless for a relative rookie.
