Well, I've been in Venice for the past week or so and have therefore been cut off from the real world.
I come back to see that James Thompson is driving a Audi in the DTM (except 2 dates which clash with the BTCC) and the "It's not going to happen" ESTC is alive and well and kicks off on Sunday. What happened? |

Mr Vader welcome back:
James Thompson's news only came up in this weeks Autosport as far as I'm aware. The ESTC has been on for ages, the Italians wanted it to keep going and I think they have something like 5 rounds, with another 5 nearby eg. Czech Rep., France. The worst of it is the blighters have 18 cars on the grid, and the favourite is your mate Kox is in the JAS Honda. |

I'm sure Kox will fall out with the other seventeen drivers and someone will punt him off in each round...fairly straightforward methinks

You lucky sod Vader, going to Venice...
Anyway, anybody who thinks Peter Kox is the favourite for anything must be completely off their head. Never mind... |
