The last Conti tire race has been going pretty well. Some close action on track and now pit strategy may come into play in the last 30 minutes.

And remember to pour out some gear oil for the last H pattern in IMSA racing when the ST BMWs are retired at the end of the race

Great finish and win for the Mini!! He celebrated in T4 by doing donuts in the grass and blew a tire in the process. But it was great to see!

Do IMSA give out penalties for getting in the way during qualifying? 52 and 55 will get a slap if so.

Derani time. Great for Mazda 2-3. Can they make it to the finish?

Hope Mazda can win. I think the form of the Nissan is good for any takers going into next year. It's a winner and fast. Who wouldn't want that if you're a prototype team.

And Caddy has paid their entry fee, Nissan have paid yet, ESM has paid it each year. Makes it a lot cheaper of an entry and on site support. I didn't see a fancy Nissan support center but there's a fancy Caddy trailer at the end of the paddock.

Two small whoops moments in warm-up this morning. The 38 oreca spun and so did one of the gtlm Porsches. Both are fine though.

Ah, Mr. Deggis .... thank you/. i was about to come here and post that as a service to my fellow sports-car addicts. Thank you very much.
The race is so much better when John Hindaugh is calling out the wrong car numbers and such ..... |

Two groups have formed in GTLM, composed with the same brands Porsche, Ford, BMW, Corvette. I assume the first one have embedded less fuel and will pit first.

I seem to have trouble playing the stream from imsa.tv since a few races.
This happens on both my desktop and my laptop. The message I get is that the stream is not available in the US. That's pretty stupid since I'm located in Belgium, not the US. I think the problem is in the way they try to guess my location. The trouble began some time ago when my ISP starting offering ipv6 adresses. I have a native ipv6-ipv4 dual stack, not an ipv6 tunnel, so there should be no reason they think I'm in the US. I can get the stream working if I disable ipv6 completely. It stops again when I re-enable ipv4. That's probably not how it was intended |
