CANNONS MSA TinTops Lydden 12th April Silverstone 27th April

mmm It's all pretty quiet on here at the moment. Any news on who is entered for the first two meetings in the CANNONS MSA TinTops yet ?
Unfortunately due to non-motorsport related thingies, I can't make the Lydden Date, but I've entered for Silverstone. Car much the same as last year, but with a new wing or two, and re-plumbed brakes. Any more entries ?

I'm there for the Lydden meeting but not Sillystone unless I fancy a charge cross country from Snett!

mmmm! looking a bit thin at the moment. Unfortunately Chezza's not doing the entries for Silverstone, It's the PMC, so no chance of an entry list before we turn up I suppose. What about Lydden Chezza ? do we have many entries yet - is it combined with Southern Saloons / Tigers ?

Im there on saturday racing in the "Mini" class.
Gemma Morris and Mary are also comming.
Not sure why we are not down on the entry list maybe because we are invited and not a class.
Shame none of the super silhouttes have decided to come out and play.
Any idea why Rod?

There are a couple of new entries for the tin tops at Silverstone. Although the grid was a bit thin at Lydden, the racing was still very good, with two different winners.
There will be a team event at Lydden on June 29th now. The TTRS have agreed to a couple of challenge races, which should be interesting. 12 a side.

Rod, I guess with you and Graham entered at Snett the same weekend, there's not going to be anyone from BARC or the TinTops series at Silverstone. I know we are big enough and ugly enough to look after ourselves, but will there be anyone there from CANNONS etc to say Hi to or make sure they are ok etc ?

New entries T1 or T2 ?

Challenge at Lydden on 29th looks interesting - I'd be happy to be a reserve if you don't get 12 entries . Can't commit 100% as it looks like I'm in at SPA the previous weekend, and if I do something stupid with the car, won't have time to repair it !

Howard Smith, the BARC south east treasurer, will be at Silverstone. He is fully aware of your needs. Please read the final instructions carefully (which I have e-mailed to you). Remember the drivers briefing, both races are rolling starts, and the prize giving at 17.00 (near where you sign on). Garages are available, but no access until the Saturday VSCC has finished and vacated. I know one of the new entries is in T3 (Peugeot 205), the other one is a Ford Escort (so possibly T2).

Rod,
Thanks - got the mail, but it only contained entry list, not finals !
p.s wasn't worried about anyone from BARC to look after me, just if any of the sponsors were turning up, it would have been nice to say hello and make sure they were ok !
Small issue, I seem to have been promoted to T1, although I entered T2 and am running on ****e 1A tyres. Don't worry about it, but I would like to be in T2 in future rounds - It's lonely in T1 at the moment !

It's Andrews Rover that will be running in T1 - when he eventually appears !

Alan

p.s. Anyone got any 205 x 17" list 1B's for less than £100 before saturday ?
(fitted and balanced of course !)

The 12 a side sounds great fun to me, are there spaces left?
Should have a bit more speed by then too, just waiting on costings of full race gearbox including all the trimings.
