Surprising how many fatalities there are each year in tennis/golfing accidents.

Does #1 Audi have an inertia damper issue?

He has noted the issue more than once, so it may just be tires. Not sure how old his tires are, but they are quadruple stinting them.

According to Leena the vibrations are caused by the tyres.

Interestingly, this is the first time that we hear that the Audi R18 has inerter dampers.

Is it the 'inverter' or the inerter that's not working on the Audi?

Not sure if I it was ever confirmed but I think we just got confirmation that the Audi's are using some kind of inerter in the suspension. Leena Gade mentioned it over the radio transmission.

As the tires wear on the Audis it seems like the wear is causing a vibration or just noticing pickup....?

Wow guys! AF Corse finally let Malucelli and Kobayashi off the leash! 3:56.9 for malucelli and 3:57.2 for Kobayashi their fastest laps of the race. Maybe Ferrari can get back into this?

Also both factory Corvettes are consistently under the 4 minute laps now.

Jim mate I'm not the type that wants to see the sport turn into R/C cars, keep the men in the machines and keep the machines loud, sexy and just plain fast. Accidents happen and unfortunately this one cost the sportscar world a wonderful talent and a wonderful man doing something he loved but it doesn't mean we should turn the cars into drones, all drivers know the risks and these drivers go out there taking that risk.

Yeah you read my mind haha. Malucelli is on the go pedal...I think the Ferrari's are not out of it yet. But they will need help from the leading GTE cars which have been extending there lead through a combination of pace and safety cars.

I think both works protos are using them, as many F1 teams. It's just that I'm not sure that I've heard Lena Gade's message correctly.

Watching the Lotterer onboard is just incredible. Overtook four cars out within 200 meters of Tetre Rouge including a Toyota. Such an amazing driver in traffic.

Lotterer throwing down lap after lap - by far the fastest thing on the track, but sadly still eleven laps down

Considering all the safety cars, the leaders are running a good pace. 171 laps complete so far and not yet halfway.

Shame for the #30 they were having a solid if unspectacular race. Looked like a big accident. Burgess onboard again, everytime he got in the car he went off track, maybe even more than Krohn!
