Offshore Marshaling

Hi

If any of you guys (or girls) have ever thought abt abt doing some marshaling off of mainland england Guernsey has a good hillclimb and we are always looking out for marshals.

Obviously to get here would cost money but why not make a weekend of it and see the sights aswell, if any of you are interested please let me know and i will let you know the dates and any other information you may want.

Having read the title of the thread I thought you were looking for marshals for some offshore powerboat race, or a Kart race on a oil rig.

I've got close friends who live on Guernsey and each time we have been over to visit them I have wondered about marshalling the hill climb, I'ld love to. But that bit of water is bl**dy expensive to cross.
What time of the year is best to come over for a hill climb and we may combine it with a holiday and visit to our friends one year. Is there a contact to ask for a list of dates at the beginning of each year?

I was getting a little worried as I thought Richard Sneader had organised some Marshalling around his Oil Rigs 110 miles into the North Sea

The summer is the best time of the year to come to holiday with all the beaches and your friends will show you around and i would be more than happy to go for a drink to show you wot a nice bunch of people we are over here.

Archaic, it is no easy task flagging from a rig. Althought the lawnmowers have a bit of trouble get around some of the drills and pipes!!!.
