He was supposed to be getting it for this round, but I think it has been delayed a round because of the damage the car received at Hidden Valley. His current car may be an old car... but it seems to still have a bit of speed in it.

welcome to ten tenths Darren...Im sure thats the same question that neil Crompton is asking at the moment but as Crash said the old car is doing the job quite well so there is no rush to get the new car out there.
another question i have is ..why was there a poll attached to this thread ???? |

G'day Darren, welcome to the fun. Seeing how well the old car is going, I'm sure Cromley is a lot keener than Lowndesy to get the new car up and running.

And ahoi hoi Darren too
The one reservation I have, is that I hope Gibson have the resources to back Crompton up, and not make him look like a dill. From what I gather GMS are still rather dependent on the Stone Brothers, they even still carry a spare engine for them... |

GMS are still reliant a little on SBR (for instance borrowing and returning things during Canberra that I noticed).
I believe Craig's car is only 1 year old though. The car Rodney Forbes is driving would be 3 years old I think. They are hoping to have the new car by Oran Park, Calder was only ever a very optimistic timing thing, even without the Hidden Valley crash. So Oran Park at the earliest, and possibly not even then. |

Hmmm, the Forbes car was the Colourscan car, which first hit the track at Bathurst 1999. I believe the Lowndes car was the one that Birght and Baird used to race. Do you know something we don't elephino??
