Magazines: Finding RCE/RT mags
I live and work in Central London... and it is bloody impossible to find either of the tech mags! Even medium sized WH Smith don't have them.
I was recently back in Aus, I dropped into the local newsagent and right there was the previous issue of Racecar Eng and Race Tech. another time I went to a different newsagent and there was a freighted copy of the very latest RCE, but for around £6.50.. Suppose you'll all tell me to get a subscription, but I'm mot of an occasional guy . What gives? someone would buy them if the local off licence got them in.. |

For Racecar Engineering
Central London - Borders bookshops - theres one in the West End that stocks it for sure, Motor Books on the Charing Cross road, If you are in Kent - Chaters at Brands Hatch stocks the current and previous six issues. All at cover price. But of course you should subscribe - so much easier. Sam Deputy Editor Racecar Engineering |

Doesn't it bother you that it is so sparsely found in London? Surely your market exists in here too. People with money travel in.
I want to just grab it at lunchtime while at work but I've checked every place in a 5-10 minute walk.. Perhaps 20 shops.. nothing but road/kit car mags and autosport |

You're lucky to find Autosport these days.
A typical branch of WH Smith will stock the top 250 magazines (at the moment that means you need sales of around 25,000), plus any which pay high enough commission to pay for the shelf space. |

online or hardcopy? Not yet spoken to anyone who has a subscription online and intrigued by it! Not the same as reading a mag on the toilet etc

Hardcopy. I agree, I've tried reading magazines online before but struggle to maintain attention!
