2009 F1 Predictions Competition - round 1, Australia
Right, I thought that as F1 is back in two weeks' time (and Ralf fan has beaten to me to it in the 'getting a competition going' stakes
 ) it was about time I got the thread going for this year's predictions competition.Rules The format is the same as last year, for those of you who entered - if you didn't enter last year, or you need a reminder, read on! The aim of the predictions competition is to correctly guess the pole position, top 8 and fastest lap drivers. Points are awarded as follows:
Please post your entries in the following format, just so it's easier to put everything together: Pole position: 1st: 2nd: 3rd: 4th: 5th: 6th: 7th: 8th: Fastest lap: You can enter the game at any point during the year, and it doesn't matter if you miss around, although there is a prize (as yet undecided!) at the end so you have a better chance of winning if you enter as many rounds as possible. Deadlines for predictions The deadline for each race's predictions is 15 minutes into the first practice session. The thread will be locked as soon as possible after that deadline, but if anything is posted in between the deadline and the thread being closed, it will be ignored - I'm terribly cruel like that. Results I will post the results threads as soon as I can after each race - this will be done in the form of a table showing the results for each round and the overall standings. I think that about covers everything - if any of the above rules aren't clear, please let me know. Otherwise, post your predictions for round 1 in this thread, and we'll see if somebody can take the crown from Pro Racer. Good luck!
