It's a toilet

As a former Ford fan (ie, prior to Bathurst last year), I had a bit of a laugh at an article in the newspaper the other day about funny car names. Have you wondered why they didn't make the 'EC Falcon'?

The FX Holden... another one that never existed...

I guess you all know the details of that numbering system GM-H had? It was the year the car was scheduled to came out, based on

K - 1
J - 2
H - 3
G - 4
F - 5
E - 6
D - 7
C - 8
B - 9
A - 0

There's no 'X' in the sequence... the car was called the 48/215... the '215' simply means 4-door sedan (so there was an FJ/215, EH/215 etc...), I think station wagons were 225s, and I don't know where that came from, but it may be a Government coding. Anyone sure?

GM-H abandoned the above system after the EH because it was no longer a 'secret'... !!

I wish it was the engine size. the 21 was the GM code for Aus and the 5 was the code for a sedan the Ute was a 50-216.
