The grm built engines inMr Pithers car and Mr Barberra car don't appear that shabby and it should be remembered that grm ran and prepared this car up until the end of 2016.
Those facts aside it still does not explain the car and driver's progression to the back of the field compared to last year. |

The kid's more than capable of getting results.
Not sure what's worse; mid-pack in Super2, or rear of the grid in the maingame? Easy to get caught in other drivers' nonsense. |

Well now he can concentrate on improving in his home series, before thinking of his future

People tend to forget he is still only 17 (ok 18 next month), despite this he has packed a lot into those last couple of years.

Meantime, Mr Fullwood is switching from a DJRTP-built Falcon to the ‘17 Super2 title winner. Shows looots of confidence in the Ford package especially since the plan was to run a #35 Ford in the enduros
Will #35 become a Commodore too? |

I get the reasons behind going down the DJRTP path, but they had an ok relationship with Triple Eight previously which they could've built upon, and perhaps hit the ground running, carrying the existing chassis into the main game.
The ability to reel off pole laps like it did, suggested it had some serious speed in Mr Hazelwood's hands. It's hard to know what specification those FG-Xs were delivered in. Prior to Mr McLauglin and Monsoir Lacroix arriving at DJRTP, the cars were mostly mid-pack runners, and not particularly consistant at it. The game has moved a fair way in a few short years, so it's not really a surprise to see both chassis struggling in their respective championships. With the benefit of hindsight, you'd be a tad naive to think that a car in ZB specification wouldn't be quick out of the box... |

Jake Kostecki is red hot blaming Matt Chahda for him taking out his brother with a brain dead move.

All 3 of them did stupid stuff today. Also, didn't really get a conclusive view, but did Gary Jacobsen outbrake himself and outright punt Macca off or did Macca lose it and check up, leaving Gary nowhere to go? |

Feel very gutted for Mac, he drove brilliantly and deserved that win IMO. (Plus he's a super nice kid too) The Jones family has had nothing but bad luck at the Mountain.

Even Murph said that it was all JK that caused that accident. JK was telling the media Matt swerved and caused it. |

Didn't see any swerving on the 6 replays I saw. Chada is a peanut, but had nothing to do with this prang.
Also agree that Jacobson wouldn't have made the corner if he hadn't hit Macca. |
