I hear that Marcus Dodd is having trouble insuring his Impreza at a reasonable price & so may not be able to compete

Assuming that all the paperwork is processed ok you will be able to add us to the list

Neil Burgess/Anna McColl Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i Class A5

The gravel tyres arrived this morning and the truck is almost MOTable so we just have to paint the car now..

Give us a shove if our little wheels get stuck!

Welcome aboard, Beany I'd have to agree that you are, indeed, mad, and I hope we can come and cheer you and Mildred on

Hello!

Yes, I finally got my finger out and registered!

Driving a Mini on the road is fantastic fun! Driving a Mini with LSD on the rally stage? I think I'll start putting on my white coat with the long sleeves now.. We'll need the luck!!

Our first round will be the Rally of Wales - not too far from Manchester Just bring all your spares and spanners

Thank you!!

I think we will need all the luck we can get - we have all been stuck in panic mode for the last couple of weeks :S

We are just about to add over 100kg of ballast - but are going to paint our lead bricks gold. Not quite the same budget as the Italian Job but hopefully our truck will not be hanging over any cliffs!!

Thank you!

We are really chuffed! The Mini went really well with no major problems - I just had to learn how to drive gravel and we had a little issue with numbers of punctures verses tyres available (we bought all of Dunlops stock and had to back off due to puncturing all our spares )

Anyway, we had a fantastic time and are really looking forwards to the Scottish. We will be celebrating at the International Mini Meeting in Scotland this weekend (we are going to wear out the M6 at this rate!)

Thanks for all your support - it is great to see people jumping up and down waving at us. Shame we don't have time to wave back!

You can find a piccy of the Mini in wales here (www.rallyzone.com).

I'd ask for your money back; obviously a dodgy batch.

Anyway keep up the good work; and keep us informed of how things are going.

They were the last six tyres in the country - if we want any more, moulds have to be shipped from Japan :S

I think it was down to sharp rocks rather than dodgy tyres - I think loads of people were having problems. Just hope we can repair the ones we have..

Will keep in touch

I thought that would be the case.

Do they not have the correct tyres in Japan, or is it still easier / cheaper to get the moulds?
