Would a Teams Championship be a good idea? Also, what do you think of the disparity between some of the drivers?? |

top effort on the stats Crash.
and yes i think a teams championship is a good idea..after all the team deserve some recognition instead of just the drivers. but the problem is point allocations..how do you work out points for 1 and 2 car teams ??? dont know the answer but its a good idea i think . allthough the state championship is a bit one way dont you think ..LOL |

how about for a teams championship make only the first car across the line get points for the teams championship. eg... if skaife 1st, bright 2nd, only skaife's points count for teams cup.

But would that be entiely fair? You could have a team like Stone Brothers who have one gun driver, and one dud driver who doesn't contribute to the 'team', but they could win the team's championship...

hmmm ..interesting Crash ..i never thought of it like that..but then thats the teams problem for hiring said "dud"..maybe it will entice teams to hire 2 guns and have one or the other pick up the points.

Crash,
Interesting stuff. Like all stats they are like a woman in a bikini. What is shown is interesting, what is hidden is crucial. I liked the teams info but the disparity between drivers would benefit from more than half a seasons data. My only other comment. If you have this much time on your hands come down here and I'll find something for you to do
