It took some balls to say ‘enough is enough’ and do something different.
I don’t know how the #18 will be more competitive than the #5 across a season, but if the ingredients are right, it will be bloody fun to find out!

Surprised Charlie and Jono Webb haven't combined their resources since they're both very close to Triple Eight. Could become what the HSV Dealer Team was to then Walkinshaw-HRT.

True, and if it came off the back of something credible, a good result here or there, or leading the car and engineering group technically to jag a result, it would make sense. Mr Stanaway has largely been uncompetitive all season, with very few glimmers of speed in practice/qually/race situations.

I'm glad Richie has cleared it all up. It was the poor car, poor engineer, and poor team that was around him that fired the car into the fence, the tyre barriers, other competitors cars and much of the trackside scenery at almost every round. It had nothing to do with his driving.

Sorry but the guy may have some talent but comes across as a self-entitled tosspot who is unwilling to accept blame for anything. And has decided to slag off and alienate the team he is supposed to drive for next year. Good move. So he's probably not that bright either.

I think that was to be expected.

Mr Adderton stated that he wanted to be further up the grid with another team, if he couldn't pony up the funds to start his own.

Any money on Jason Bright playing a role at Team 18 next year. Swerkolt (I think) stated the car had improved in the right direction once Bright came on board for the endures. He is a noted development driver and got FPR heading in the right direction many years ago. Also past teammate to Winterbottom. Could be a development/endure drive role. I don't think Winterbottom is the best set up/development driver in the field, often using Chaz's set up to find the speed. Thoughts, if any?
