I made it quite clear as we got the equipment out yesterday morning that, in view of the weather we've had so far this season, if anybody complained about being too hot I'd smack them around the head with the shovel! Last edited by Dave Brand; 11 May 2008 at 15:38. |

Was a good day, but very quite at water tower despite Mr Brand being at the post before us. Nevermind, had plenty of chance to get a bit of a tan going.

The "Highlight" of the day was the TV guy playing chicken with the F3 cars on the GF lap, and then having a picnic & snooze against the armco! |

A superb Bradshaw/Gough scrap in the Moose Trophy final, a couple of good FF Championship races (good to see Stuart Jones winning a race!), Edwin Jowsey proving in the F3 race that ten-second penalties don't matter if you'vegot a twenty-second lead... ...the XR's were very well-behaved! |

Yes it was a nice and sunny day. I enjoyed it! It was better than the previous two I have done this year! Snow and rain, and extremely cold!
I had a good day at Lodge, with my brother coming onto the bank for his first time! A few incidents to be had, including the red flag in the Formula Ford race! Sorry. Matt. |

I thought it was a good day too actually. OK, some of the racing was a bit sedate (but you've got to expect some poor races in a full programme) - the Moose final on the other hand was a brilliantly close battle and great to watch every time they came past.
As regards the change of weather - about time too! |

I thought that five competitive FF1600 races without a red flag was good stuff. Do you mean a red displayed in error - or almost displayed as a momentary twitch and quickly retracted - before it went all round the circuit? |

If I can remember correctly, the red flag was in the morning qualifiers and the races were all nice and clean with some excellent racing.

There was a red - for Nigel Dolan at Lodge in practice, stuck in the gravel.
Didn't realise until later Diz or I would have mentioned it. |

Sorry, I must've got confused with the amount of Formula Ford practices and races! It was in the morning practice.
