Me! It's a great meeting. I can only hope it's as dry as last year and nothing like the monsoon we had in 2009

I've asked to flag this year, which will be interesting.

This will be my first full meeting after the taster day i attended last weekend. I've got the bug now, attended meeting last year on the other side of the fence and what a great meeting.

A Big thank you to Gerry C and Hairy DJ For last Saturdays taster.

Another great WHT in prospect. Grows in career importance each year with rising stars featuring again. Weather always unpredictable so come equipped for everything.

The Forum on Saturday night is entertaining - chance to see drivers and team folk. Kick off usually around 19.00 in the BRDC suite. One of the few opportunities ordinary mortals get to see the artworks and model car collection. Arrive a bit earlier and theres usually free supper available. Dress code is casual believe orange ovvies and boots are frowned upon.

See you all there.
Good luck on the flags Greem

Just the Sunday for me, always one of my favourite meetings of the year. Unfortunately a good friend has decided she's going to be 40 on the Saturday and didn't think my spare ticket was a good enough birthday present so we've got to go and have an excellent meal instead!

At present I believe this is being held in the Jimmy Brown Suite this year as is the prize giving on Sunday. Once we have confirmation of location I will post and let people know.

Being in my first year marshalling, I've heard the Walter Hayes event being hyped up all year. I'm expecting great things, big fields, close racing, marshals putting up bunting (ok maybe not), amazing grid girls, fireworks the lot!

Seriously, I've got no idea what to expect but I'm looking forward to it!

Not seen an entry list for this year, but if last years meeting was anything to go by you are in for a great weekend.

IIRC, last few years it has been about 60 teams with 4-6 cars in each team. Even on the Bridge circuit as it was last year, it was rare to not have a car in view, and the Arena circuit is not all that much longer. Plenty of blue flagging practise assured

Lol, I've only got 3 meetings left this year, and I can't work it out. Maybe I need a winter break

You'll be dissapointed in the grid girls bit. Lycra goes out of fashion in November and they have to go into hibernation lest they freeze. Anyway, there's too much racing action to give them time to get on the grid. The enjoyable racing and great spirit more than makes up for it.
