I think (but don't quote me!!) that if you're in your overalls and have your licence and are there before anything goes out on track then you should be able to get in. Tickets are required for the big events (TOCA / F3 / Gold Cup etc.) and if you are going to arrive late for the meeting.
P.S. One of the guys on the gate on Monday said the tickets are a pain as they have to tear off the stubs and it takes them longer!!!! |

I was not going to be allowed in last Monday without a ticket - the lady on the gate was adamant about that! AND that was just a clubbie!!
The new ticketing policy (Whatever it turns out to be) came into effect on June 1st |

I seem to remember a few years ago that the previous owners of the circuits now owned by MSV had a season ticket available. Would it not be helpful to have an MSV season ticket issued to all marshals who have an MSA licence? This would then prevent any confusion and marshals can attend events at short notice. I know it's yet another card to lose, but it is just a thought. Has anyone thought what would happen at the start of a season if the MSA licence at late?

OULTON PARK - 5 JUN - BARC MEETING
Wed and I am still awaiting passes etc for the BARC Meeting on Sat. Spoke to the circuit and they say will need tickets to enter, £10 each. MSA Registration Cards / Licences with Club membership cards will not suffice. Are Motor Sport Vision going back to the days of Nicola ?

All passes were sent out at the end of last week to those who had volunteered!
Suggest you drop a PM to "MarshalGirl" or "Ian Lewis" if you're an incident marshal. |

Hi Just arrived home from a business trip.
Nadine is stuck in Ireland until someone puts 10p in the meter at ATC. I spoke to the gate peoplw at Oulton. They say if anyone arrives in Orange it is easier for them to wave them through as it saves time. I do not forsee any proplems with gaining entry if you explain that passes were not sent etc. Cheers Ian |

I have found that if you wave and are in orange, then put your foot down through the empty gate the staff on the gate wave back on club meetings :>)
The major events have rent a mob are on the gates and to be fair they are only doing what they are asked to do. If anyone is stuck about getting in and have a problem PM me on Friday and I will give you my mobile and will meet you at the main gate with my spare ticket. |
