That would be Five completely different teams! Nearly 6!

Not too shabby!
It's a bit different with Moss, though, as he spent the latter part of his career driving for Rob Walker, who fielded multiple makes of cars for him as a private entrant. Moss won for three works teams (Mercedes, Maserati, and Vanwall) and won for Walker driving a Cooper and a Lotus. He also (as you noted) came second in the 1959 British GP driving a BRM entered by BRP.

So Moss won GPs for four teams, three works and one private, in five different makes of car.

I agree with your last sentence, but you've missed out a win or two, although it doesn't affect the overall statistic.

Off topic, but still in my opinion the best all round driver ever - check out his sports car and rallying achievements.

Please feel free to correct!

The scary thing is that he never won a WDC and yet was so good.

When you see the comparative rubbish he was driving and the fact that he could win in anything, his statistics are just plain beyond superlatives!

And the next week driver for Ferrari is....
a) Petrov
b) Chandok
c) Di Grassi
d) Mansell

Every week someone is the new next year driver for Ferrari, when in fact no one wants Massa's throne of agony besides Don Alonso. I still think that the brazilian is the perfect man for the job, never faster than Mr. No 1 but still fast if ferrari improve the car.

Button has no need to leave McLaren, he is almost number 1 there now, and if Lewis insist in his win or wall strategy the Frome boy will soon consolidate it.
