This is the worst Grand Prix circuit in the world. Quite a relief to have a dull Grand Prix after the excitement of Monaco and Canada.

And with that win Vettel is the only driver to control his own destiny for the championship.

Even if Weber or Jenson (pick one) won every race from here on out they would need someone to beat Vettel or have Vettel have issues to drop him beyond second. If Vettel finished second every race from here on out he would still win the WDC.

I don't mind Valencia as I like to see the drivers have to tip toe around parts of this race circuit..It is very fast for the streets 124MPH average speed I believe..

The only exciting thing today was Hamilton firstly telling his engineer he couldn't go any slower and then later on telling him he couldn't go any faster. Terminally boring i am afraid despite the whole BBC team bigging it up.

They should replace this boring venue. Why does Spain need two Grand Prix when there are other countries bidding to host.

Why not have a roaming European GP, that is hosted by those countries that don't have a regular GP on the calendar.

Yeah, I thought about that too, a rotating calendar, each year a track host the European GP.

I also had an idea (which, in fairness, does have a host of problems, but, with some preparation perhaps..?) where the current champion's nationality would determine the 'European/Asian/Pacific/North American/South American' GP.

So if/when Vettel wins, we'd have Nurburgring as the European GP of 2012.

If say, Webber won, we'd have the Pacific GP 2012 in Adelaide.

It'd be an open way of making money out of the current World Champion, rather than all this bolloúx we have now. Plus, it'd be a nice bonus for the champion to have two 'home' races, plus the crowds would be enormous!

The main problem would be if someone like Kovalainen won the championship...
