Tony Kart sponsorship question.
I have an odd (and probably stupid) question. Looking at pictures of the Tony Kart team, the drivers don't seem to have prominent individual sponsors on their race suits. I would have thought to drive for a successful team like Tony Kart you'd have to bring a lot of money with you. I can only assume that Tony Kart have their own sponsors so their drivers don't have to pay, am I correct in thinking this?

Drivers pay the total cost of racing with Tony Kart!
My experience is that most kart and lower formulae drivers have their parents paying for the racing! |

Q. Who would want to sponsor a driver whose team insist that all the kart and suit branding must advertise the team?
A. The driver's rich family or friends Why would a company get involved unless it was linked to the driver's rich family or friends? |
