JJ blew it?

I asked him when he could come by the shop to meet with Andy Brown and Pancho Carter. He said he could be there on Thursday at 9am. Well at 6pm Thursday I called him to find out where he was. He said I'm having dinner with my wife I'll call you later. Well the call never came. So as far as I'm concerned he is off the list. As I said earlier we are looking at ALL posible drivers from all series to come up with the bEST solution for Panther. This process is just starting please be patient. JB Jb If this is true, it sounds like Cactus Jack needs to go back and give young JJ a major a$$ kicking! I'd add the link, but I don't know how. |

I've found it, it's here.
Thats a shame for JJ, hopefully we havent heard the last of him. John Barnes also makes offical that Tomas Enge will be testing for the team. Apparantly, they've been in talks since April to sort a test out. |

They have also announced today that Townsend Bell and Mark Taylor will test in October during a week long Test. Location not yet advised. Enge is testing Fontana right NOW

oh geez , doesnt sound good for JJ does it ?
I too hope we see some more of Mr Yeley soon. as for Taylor and Bell testing , I'm surprised Bell is gonna test I thought he was really trying for an F1 ride ?? I guess you gotta go where the work is ? |

I'd love to see Enge in there, he's a very overlooked talent IMHO. A driver who has really blossomed as he has gone up the racing ladder.

There are always two sides to all stories (Rashomon?). I used to talk with JJ in the pits when he came to the Perris sprint car races from Phoenix, he always seemed like a nice kid, I'd hate to think he's become overly arrogant. Sam seems to have wanted to split from Barnes, so who knows? I sure as hell don't, I'm just a fan who likes to watch sprints and races like the IRL puts on. One car every 5 seconds through a concrete tunnel doesn't raise my testasterone level. |
