Anyone know what's happened with the feature race? I know Rydell's won both races, but if you look at the results MST has posted the sprint race was longer than the feature race. I presume the feature race has been stopped for some reason, but can't find any race reports yet.

For those who do actually want to know what happened

I phoned Woody and she says there was an accident between Plato and Tarquini which brought the safety car out (the race report is now on Autosport and it says Plato's throttle stuck open), then after that the race was halted after Radermecker had what sounds like a pretty massive accident at Sunny. By the sounds of it he's been lucky to walk away uninjured!

Schume should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Feature race was stopped when Radermecker went straight on at Sunny. Race commentary estimated that he left the track at 130. He hit the tyre wall and bent the armco, car ended up on its side. But he was walking after being extracted from the car.

The race was restarted as a 10 lap sprint, with the cars lined up on the grid as they were when it was stopped.

Not seen any reports as yet as to why he went off.
But I guess it rounded off a very expensive weekend for Vauxhall.

Sounds like a very very scary accident - but Vincent is OK I've been told.

Excellent Day Can't wait until I see the TV coverage of Croft

Vincent was feeling so good he drove the medical car for the restart!
The car was in quite a mess. It had to be rolled on its roof to get it off the tyre wall.
Plato's didn't look much better - front all smashed in but what I want to know is 'what was the matter with Muller?' He was overtake by Vincent in the sprint and was nearly caught by the class B cars in the feature race.

It seems he 'danced' his across the track in testing and smashed the whole front.
I must admit he was not missed (Muller would have been even further down the pack!)
