mongoose should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I think montoya is very talented (his car control especially, probably as good as MS/MH)but till we see him in a current F1 car we wont know.
In CART the car is much heavier 800Kg? as opposed to 595Kg and also much stronger suspension parts. this was why I think Alex zanardi did so well because he could "bash wheels " and be very agressive(like montoya) and get away with itit suited his driving stle.

I think button has show that Ralf is a bit overrated (except in the wet) and i think montoya will do well as long as he gets the time in the car like Villneuve did in 1996.

Well you'll always see you're making a point which is completely logical over the past season and the subject of discussion puts in his best F1-performance ever.
Anyway fine performance by Button. Lousy job by Ralf, Michael, DC and Barrichello can be added though. No way they should be more than 1 second clear off Mika (unless he found that flying mood again )

To set some things straight I didn't use the first stage of TGF's F1-career as a comparison to Bunsen's. Jay did, and I only concluded TGF did a far better job back then, even taking into mind that an old demotivated Piquet wouldn't be a teammate Button could handle, if I stand corrected about Nelson.

And I don't think it's the driver's that are making the Williams FW22 shine. To the contrary even, the driver's go up and down the grid depending on the development stage the car is in. In front if the choices were right, at the back of the grid if the choices were wrong. Someone that makes the car look better than it is is Villeneuve, always somewhere behind the top 4; no magic been twisted out of the FW22 ever this year.

Dino, yes Micheal did a good job back then, but so is Jensen now, and Jensen is a lot younger.

Today at Spa he made Ralf look slow on a circuit that they both know well. I am now wondering if this is what we can expect next year from Jensen when he familiar with the circuits. Maybe Frank will be wanting him back a little sooner.

I'm worried that him and Fisi will give a harsh beating to Ralf and Montoya.

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing

Next year will be very interesting fo rBenneton-Renault. It all depends how strong hte experimental Renault engine is. Renault is not lacking in engine development experience, having produced the strongest engine for Williams and Benneton in the nineties. However, I would like to know what they mean by "experimental", how powerful it will be and how reliable it will be. Bunsen could turn out to be the hottest tip next year.

I think Frank knows exactly what he's going. After all, Juan Pablo's a known quantity to him -- in F1 as well as CART machines. True, he hasn't raced on Formula One circuits, but I have little doubt his immense talent will emerge.

No slight to Button, but I believe Frank's moves will prove him out.

I vote for Franky and his boys.
Renault made good engine in nintees, but now it's other crew, Dido leave Renault and many people who took a part in great engine development did it too. Therefore Button will have to wait, if he could stand it. A lot of young talented drivers wasted away in second echelon teams.
