Thundersport GB pre-season test/training day

Each year Thundersport GB help a diverse range of individuals get into the wonderful world of motorcycle road racing.
Some are as young as 12 years of age and may be hoping to become the next Barry Sheene, Giacomo Agostini, Mike Hailwood or Valentino Rossi.
Others were actually born around the same time as those famous racers, but just never had the time, opportunity or financial wherewithal to live out their dreams until now.
Yet others are somewhere in between those two extremes and have only just discovered the passion for riding motorcycles fast. They may have tried track days or race schools and now want to give racing a go.
It’s rarely too early and almost never too late. Nothing you have ever done will stand up to comparison to the first time you take the race start and charge into the first corner with the rest of the pack. Once you become a fully fledged racer, life will change forever.

If you read up on the subject, you might find the whole process of undergoing a competency test, getting track accreditation, joining a race organisation and getting your first race licence a bit difficult or even downright confusing. What you need is the Thundersport GB “One Stop Racing Shop” to get the whole thing done and dusted in a single day.
In 2012, the Thundersport GB “One Stop Racing Shop” will be held on Sunday 26th February at Mallory Park in Leicestershire, which is just about as central as you can get if you live in England or Wales.

We also have pre-season testing available at this event, which means you’ll get to know some of our regular riders before the season even starts. You can tailor your course to include just the parts you need or you can book the whole package and costs break down as follows:-

Testing only = £75 all day in sessions.
ACU Competitor Training Course = £30 (Under 17 years old free of charge)
ACU Track Assessment = add £20 to testing fee.
Eyesight Report for ACU Licence = £10 (including colour test if required)
Thundersport GB Registration = £35 standard (or £120 Premier - optional)
Orange Vest for Novices = Free of Charge
Technical Compliance Check = Free of Charge
Advice and assistance with administrative paperwork = Free of Charge
