max absolute top speeds rarely speak the truth, today toyota couldn't resist to alpine on long main straight, but interesting info during the race I've found out toyota got back to a 7 speeds gearbox like the old ts040

The important thing is it managed to compete a race distance, albeit several laps behind. Now they just need to find more speed and iron out any problems there are with the car over a race distance

It would be interesting to find out how the clutch failure happened. Was it accident damage?

Driver error after the crash. He didn't use LC.
We all make mistakes. Engine was also over revved to 11,9k It seemed ok.. Tuff one that. Car is fast. VMAX very good Low downforce made us a touch slow but should be good for Le Mans and Monza. Two cars will help. Tires need development. Car is beautiful A number of teams interested. |

I won't be surprised if the clutch didn't fail because of the collision but because briscoe started the stopped car too abruptly
EDIT, just anticipated by Jim. |

Anyone interested in rebadging the Pipo? The VAG teams could use it instead of that Porsche truck engine.

I bet Dirani can't wait to race a car with his own name-branded engine, hahaha

Rocking On
We're back from an amazing 3 weeks. We are very excited that a major Team looks likely to buy an 004C for The NLS and The N24. We are moving towards GT3 and have a lot of teams interested in her for IMSA/WEC/NLS/N24/ETC. We also have a lot of interest for Road 004's in Europe. We will deliver an UK SVA 004 in time for Goodwood and will fully Euro homologate. We will build out our European Productive capacity initially to 100 cars a year. Our first WEC race with 007 was amazing. We learned a lot and will be at Monza with two 007's. We are also very pleased that several P2 teams are interested in her and moving up to Hypercar. We think we can price her attractively and she has very reasonable spare costs, is very easy to work on, and a long running time between rebuilds. Glickenhaus Zero, our sister company, is moving ahead developing a liquid Hydrogen ICE/Hybrid LMH and our Hydrogen FC Baja/Dakar/road/fleet full size pick up and we remain committed to becoming the first company to finish the Baja 1000 with zero emissions. We are also looking into a carbon sequestration version of our 004 road and race cars that would improve their overall emissions by 30%. We must make the sport we love greener while preserving the sound and fury we all love. There are those that would turn the N24 into a bicycle race and have Le Mans contested by spec Tesla's. We are not among them. Finally, we are so proud to be on the WEC Monza Poster with our friends at Ferrari and will try very hard to stand and deliver. |
