I thought Rouse was making his own series with support from Damon Hill?

BMP have taken over promotion of the series. Officially it's 'on hold' for 12 months. Unofficially, I doubt you'll ever see it again.

Don't think Damon Hill was ever part of the plan.

kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I thought I recall reading in Autosport that some German organization, I believe RTL (television channel backed) has stepped up to provide TV coverage and run the series? Or something SUPER close to it???

Hiya,

Redshoes - I think you're spot on.

Damon Hill was hyped up by the media to be involved in SUPERSTARS (not Supercars!), which sounded similar to Rouse's Supercars, but would run over Europe. That's prolly when RTL were on about.

At the Autosport show, BMP did say that Supercars would be re-launched next year. I don't see it myself, although it could probably be an excellent series - heck, if Rouse is behind it, it must be good!

With such series as Eurocar and Ascar, do we need it?

They are another space frame series with cars made to look like real cars!

Seroiusly Rik, they ARE real cars with the space frame built inside them. None of this plastic Mondeo 'wannabe' stuff!

Much different!!
