jus cos the V8s have huge grids doesnt mean that the racing is good, cos it isnt there is too strict rules in terms of punting other cars, the only good races are the long ones that acctually have action and overtaking

i'd say the BTCC was the best of all time and the current best is the DTM.

The V8s have big grids but that's it, the racing is pretty boring and i won't even go into the category management.

Best at the Moment - STCC (maybe ETCC after this year)
Best Ever - Mid 80s ETC, mid 90s BTCC

I like the V8s and are big beasty cars.

Greatset- BTCC of course
Current Greatest- BTCC and possible V8s. Russian Touring Cars have big grids I think. And need to become more popular.

I think the DTM is the current best, with great cars, the best drivers and action all the way. But the Super Touring era BTCC is the greatest ever, as has been virtually unanimously (maybe we've all jsut got 'good old days' syndrome, they say its a British disease)

DTM has the most well known drivers, but are they actually the best? Not for me to say but they might not be
