Snetterton 3hr question

This may be a silly question but as this will be my first ever visit to an historic event please bear with me I am just curious to know whether the Touring Cars will be racing on both days, the HSCC event calender says X2 so i assume they are but could one of you seasoned veterans just let me know the lay of the land with these events, many thanks in advance, Chris

I've not seen a timetable, but I understand that the meeting will comprise:

Friday: Free Practice and Qualifying for the Three Hours and the Sports Racing Cars
Saturday: The Three Hour Race, A One Hour Race for Sports Racing Cars; qualifying and two races for Historic Roadsports, 70s Roadsports and Formula Junior respectively.
Sunday: Qualifying and two races each for Historic Touring Cars, Historic FF2000, Historic FF1600, Classic Clubmans, Classic Racing Cars and Classic F3.

Hi Chris

As said above!

It is not unusual for HSCC to organise the timetable so some championships are only at the circuit for one day.

Come and say hello if you are about on Saturday, we are in the 3hr race in car 96, my Gilbern GT. Should be in a pit garage somewhere!

Mods, any chance of adding this to the 3hr thread?

Yep - Kipper's got it right. Qualifying on Sunday starts at 09:00 and finishes at 11:00. First race on Sunday is at 11:15, last race is scheduled to finish at 18:25 - a pretty full day...
