Snetterton would be 4/5 August, a BRSCC meeting!
The event organisers have today a last discussion with the circuit management about the noise 'problem' and then follows the decision (also today)!

Hello Christian,
could you give us the dates of meetings you are trying to add to the Euroboss championships please ? I know you are still negociating and that these dates are still hypothesis, but this could help us to organise ourselves.
I am looking for circuits available for training session before Zolder and had found one for August the 5th : not a good idea if you are trying to find races this week-end...

Hello Laure!
Our 'wish' calendar for the second half of the season could look like this (and we hope it):
04/05 August - Snetterton - BRSCC Race Meeting
24/26 August - Zolder - ChampCar World Series
22/23 September - Ronda - Resort Ascari SuperPrix
05/07 October - Nurburgring - EuroBOSS SuperPrix
19/21 October - Monza - Italian Car Championship Finals + F3000 Euroseries
10/11 November - Barcelona - Spanish Car Championship Finals + Int.GT Open

They cancelled our race at Zolder with the 'F3 Masters' (4/5 August), but we never said that we have no other race at this weekend...

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
could you not have the Ascari race before the barcelona race then the cars could stay down south maybe saving the teams £2000 on the ferry drive to spain
how can you get around the 108 dba noise level at Snetterton unless u make the meeting an International event

Snetterton should be exciting if it happens, I remember when the British F3000 used to visit and watching them through the "Bombhole" was pretty awesome.........

well done Jodie for beating the Rallycross car at the Fastfest at Santa pod I thought the Rallycross car might have had a slight advantage having 4wd but I guess the Jordan had the power........

Ford Cosworth Dfr ecu for sale if anyone needs a spare these are coming hard to find . This is not an advert but an ECU going down will stop someones weekend and its very expensive to travel to spain and not race.

Is there any chance the Euroboss races will be on after 3pm?

I'm working that Sunday and should be able to skive off at about 1.30 and then drive the 1 1/4 hrs to Snetterton in order to see this as I, like Thundersports, can also remember British F3000 at Snetterton.

I know at the moment not the exact timetable, but I think we will have on Saturday morning our free practice and qualifying and on the late afternoon our sprint race (15 min)! Sunday morning warm-up and then probably between 2pm and 3pm the long race (30min)!

Event line-up:
-EuroBOSS
-Sports 2000 Historic Championship
-Sports 2000 Endurance Race (1h)
-Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship
-Formula Jedi Championship
-Club Formula Ford Midlands South Championship
-LMA Euro Saloon Car Championship
-Uniroyal Fun Cup (4h)

Casting my memory back there was a Euroboss race at Snetterton in the late 90's (one of the few UK races I didn't attend) won by either Worswick or Rajamaki should be exciting though

Doh guessed wrong!
I may be wrong about this as well but I think Snetterton has been modified since then (1997)?
