Autosport Show 2011 - Rallycross
News and Gossip from Autosport show!
Live Arena Thursday - Oooooooops! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjaTtnCPkWU Live Arena Friday - Takes Pat's car out for a demo along with Andy Scott and Andy Grant only for a trackrod to break, leaving him with no steering and hitting a solid centre pilar!! not pretty, front right suspension and wheel damaged, wing ripped off! Swifts put on a good show in the arena as did the RX150's No luck for Liam Great LHMC stand, Tapscotts Corsa, Hills Mitsi, Junior Swift, and a new colour scheme for Binks. Other car on Lucas stand Lynch Swift. Dates: Confirmed BRC dates March 26th/27th Lydden May 7th Blyton (Night Race) TBC June 12th Mondello Park TBC July 10th Belguim August 28th/29th Lydden September 18th Knockhill October 16th Mallory November 5th/6th Croft TBC BTRDA Additional dates to replace Belguim and Ireland: April 17th Blyton TBC July 31st Blyton TBC Other big event will be the GP to be annunced soon! Tv coverage for Motors and Channel 4 again. |

Note Croft Circuits website out now with 2011 fixtures and all the action is listed as ending in October, no Rallycross mentioned, so presume British Championship will not be travelling North.

Blyton is not the North and Knockhill is beyond the North! I can get to London quicker than I can get to Knockhill! I also noticed that rallycross is not listed on Croft's website, but it is listed on the Rallycross Uk website. Is it or is'nt it happening? I'd like to think it is if it's on the BRC website. Still no confirmation on when, if or where the rallycross gp is happening!
