Glad to have him back, it’s been long enough. Hope it’s worth the wait

Hopefully this is prelude to him returning to the series full time in 2019

6 wild cards are granted for the Macau Round: Andre Couto, Filipe de Souza, Lam Kam San, Rui Valente, Kevin Tse, Lo Kai Fung So there are 31 cars will go for the final round, hope this outcome can satisfy many people's wish, including me. Last edited by smithhehehaha; 18 Oct 2018 at 13:06. |

31 cars at Macau. Are we taking bets on how many will be left in one piece by the end?

After watching Bathurst 1000 would like to see WTCR final at that event. |

from touring car times: to ensure the drivers handed wildcard status are ready for the high-level competition they will face, and will be capable of qualifying within the lowered 105 per cent limit. |

That’s good, don’t need a repeat of the 2013 shenanigans

How about implementing a virtual safety car?

Giovanardi has left the Mulsanne Team. What a shame, I wanted to see him at least in Suzuka. He will be replaced by Gigi Ferrara, a talented guy that is vice champion in TCR Italy 2018.
Giovanardi will be back and won't retire |

The Alfa project has been a bit of a let down. Fast, sure. But very fragile.

Suzuka - Audi with +60kg, Honda +30kg
Audi will be the heavier car in Suzuka with a +60kg of ballast. Cupra and Honda also gain weight. Cupra now with +30kg and Honda +40kg.
10kg less for the Golf GTI. The others will remain with the same Bop. I think Suzuka wil be interesting However i don't like this BOP with so many up&down all over the season |

But I agree with you, it would be much more interesting if they introduced track based compensation weight. That way they will eliminate both dominating cars like Hyundai on twisted circuits or Audi on fast circuits on these kind of circuits and also stop 'punishing' the best cars like they did to Hyundai on Zandvoort, VW on Slovakiaring or Audi at Hungaroring. If it works in SRO series, why won't it work in WTCR and TCR Series championships? 30 cars in one second on 6km long track promises great racing. |
