Looking for Sintura S99 info/pictures.

Hi all,
I'm looking for in information and pictures of the Sintura that ran in British GT in 1999.

Does anyonw know where I can find some?

I've managed to find some pictures on racingsportscars and neilgarner.co.uk but I'm still looking for pictures of the rear of the car and the interior if possible.

I'm also interested in technical specs like weight, downforce etc, the only think I found so far is that it was powered with a Judd GV4 engine.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The Sintura didn't weigh much more than the 900kg minimum weight for the GT1 class at the time. The chassis was designed in-house, but the construction of it was outsourced to Lola.

With the GT1 air restrictors being bigger than the LMP air restrictors of the time, the Judd was putting out well over 650 bhp. Combined with the light weight, it was visibly quicker on the straights than the McLaren, Porsche and Lister opposition.

They were only really scratching the surface of what was achievable with this car. In only its second race it was right on the British GT pace, and ought really to have been capable of going a hell of a lot quicker too.

I believe the project hit the rocks when principal sponsor 3dfx pulled out at the end of 1999 and it was never seen again.

Yeah, for me there are two types of GT car - big brutal monsters like the LM600 or Speed 12 (don't have to be pretty as long as they cause earthquakes on their way round!), or sleek/sexy cars like the Sintura or the Lister GTL (don't necessarily make the ground shake but have gorgeous lines - particularly the '99 longtail Lister).

I never managed to see the Sintura in action, '99 was one of the few years I didn't get to a BGT race. I can't really see where it would have fit in from 2000 onwards - LM GTP, maybe?

Thanks for the info guys. I think there were plans to race the car in the ALMS in 2000 i think, the car also did the Laguna Seca ALMS race in 1999.

The reason I'm asking is because i'm looking into the possibilty to make this car as an addon to rFactor (computer game). You may know of the WSGT mod, TheNewBob

More info, and especially pictures, are still welcome!
