From what I remember, Peka were talking about too many people working on the car during the refuelling - so that's why I made the link with the ProSpeed refuelling infringement.

PK taking to court of appeal their protest over Vitaphone.

Championship may well get decided in the courts again - Vitaphone lost the 2005 title this way, will they again?

Looking at the picture that was posted in the Alpina GT3 thread, I just have to say that running the GT3 race into the darkness was a brilliant way to end the season.

Like previous years I covered the final races at Zolder. Although light was a bit dull, the GT3/Belcar race at dawn was spectacular (for taking photos).

What is the latest on this then? It's all rather sad, desparate and unnecessary in my humble opinion. If only the Corvette teams could have worked together all season...

I think it's still relevant, as we are waiting for the final results of this race to be determined in court in Paris.

Fair comment!

My post took into account the dedicated thread which has superceded this race thread regarding discussion relevant to the appeal.

I assume that's been delayed until December 7th, same as the GT1 Calendar and Zolder result decisions.

And nearly 2 months after the race is far too long to be Disqualifying people, they should have a set cut off date after every event where results have to be made final, stringing everyone along for 2-3 months is just not on.

FIA sticking another finger up the arse of Vitaphone, what a suprise It doesn't take 1.5 months to figure out that the cylinder heads and blocks aren't OK with the rules. More like they know the protest PK did was right, and they don't want to crown another champion by now.
