Everybody pushing now, Albuquerque puts the Ligier in 6th P2 position. Hanley puts DragonSpeed 3rd overall.

They're probably pushing now and later tonight for Q1/FP2 because of possible rain tomorrow.

Following the onboard camera on the Rebellion #1 I have to say that the people from Gibson would be very confident to let them use that 6th gear, the engine screams like crazy for such a long time.

It wouldn't be Le Mans if it had a tv director that wasn't totally obvlivious to what's going on on the circuit

So I looked and got my times mixed up this morning when trying to schedule listening while driving. What time will the first quali session go off Eastern Standard? Or how many hours from right now?
I wonder how many people driving around South Georgia or listening to radio Le Mans... |

Well, in general I think the first practice was plenty of good surprises. Some cars seems faster than I thought. It's not just Rebellion against Toyota, SMP and even DragonSpeed showed their speed too. There's a great mix of teams up there. Even with their problems, Ginetta was faster than I spected and if they could improve a bit, they will have a good fight with ByKolles.
The P2 class looks better than last year, the Ligiers are still behind in a single lap, but this chassis always perform good on the race. With so much press noise, it was a bit fun to see Button ahead of Alonso for some time. |

Hopefully things will stay this close, though I somewhat doubt it since Toyota still have a factory developed car that should, at least in single lap pace, have more in reserve if they need it.

Ah it’s that time of the year again. Ready and waiting to watch my first session. Fingers crossed we get some quick laps from the LMP1s straight away when the track is at it’s clearest.
Does anyone use the chat now? I couldn’t seem to access it using the mobile option on my iPad. Can you access it via a IRC client etc? |

What do you think Toyota will (try to) do this year ?
Win the race or win the race and seek to break the distance record ? |
