DPi have much better and developed aero, better tires, better chassis etc...
a DPI would easily run in 3.21-3.22 at le mans.


As expected, despite bop changes, it remains a mazda vs acura challenge, cadillacs have just been pushed back for good

Interesting hypothetical time... The slowed down lmp2's did a 1:52 flat. I think they'd be pretty close to dpi if they ran as-is and had more veteran teams running. That Audi 1:46.9 was 11 years ago Think how far we've come since then. I don't want to get caught up on fast laps, but it's taken a while to come back to where we were.

Hope for an interesting race. Usually this track doesn't disappoint but I really hope the Oreca Acura doesn't run and hide.
