LOL - couple of months - still have to buy a sew on badge. No, no MSA license as yet, but we were advised in our letter to expect it to take up to 4 months

ascar - it's slightly different here because we go through BMMC (NI) and they have to get in contact with the mainland. IIRC I got notification of my grade back in August and the badge arrived today. It does take a bit of time - I would also assume that they're starting to do the membership for next year so that will slow things down a bit.

LOL - the problem with that is that once you get onto flags, you never get off them again!

Well done Kaybee

I suspect that you will have to wait for next years license to show your new grade as it's a little late in the year to issue one for this year.

That's why on the one occasion I've flagged cars, at a meeting at Anglesey where we were desperately short of marshals (no change there, then! ), I didn't put my card in for a signature, & kept repeating the mantra 'I'm not a real welder.....oops, flaggie'!

Much as I like taking the out of flaggies (well, in my position I would, wouldn't I?) I have to admit that it's too much like hard work for me.
