they are both lotus cup cars purchased from belgium and only collected on thursday. returned to ireland and driven at mondello for a track day. Both drivers arew very new to the cars and they will have a steep learning curve on sunday. Wish them all the best luck

This was Emailed to me earlier

Derek Jobb in Helmut Holfelds Escort ending up walking away with the Super Final after James Gibson retired from the race, and Carngie & Tracey had already retired in the Supercar Final.....Michael Coyne was impressive as always in his 2.2 Litre Nova, managing just about to stick with Jobb, but was given a run for his money in the Super Modified final.

Yep deal has been done. Speaking to Helmut today and he was delighted to sell it to someone who could really drive it. Interested spectator answer is in one of the pics posted

it was an ok day, but given that it was the exact 40th anniversary of Rallycross, I would have expected a little bit more hoopla.
