At least DJR drivers can keep their victory
Penalty is a bit bullshit really. The line locker is there to stop the wheels turning. It dropped out because the engine stalled. Which also has a tendency to stop the wheels turning. So why the need for a 60 point penalty and a fine?

888 picked a good weekend to sandbag. Aero parity adjustment coming in 3, 2, 1....

Maybe I can be of some help to you, perhaps you could get your seven year old niece to read my post and explain it to you.

While she's at it, perhaps she could read the rules of the site for you and explain the attack the post and not the poster rule. I feel sure you will have a drive through penalty pending.

What's with all the "tensioning" of wheels nuts? When something is under tension, it is being pulled apart. Picture a tug of war, two teams pulling each end of a rope - the rope is under tension. The wheel nut is trying to do the opposite, it is trying to push the wheel on, and so the wheel is under compression ( from the wheel nut ), not tension. Mark Skaife might have been an above average race car driver, but he's no mechanical tech guru. You "torque" a wheel nut ( and any other nut or bolt ), and it is specified in pounds per square inch in the old language, and newton metres ( or sometimes kg's per metre or centremeter ) in the modern world. Look in any workshop manual for your car, it will have a sections listing the correct torque for critical bolts / nuts, ( head studs, rocker shaft studs, main rod bolts, axle retaining nut etc etc ). It he's going to dribble on endlessly about something, at least get it factually correct. Imagine how many people are out there now "betta go chek teh tension on da Falcodore wheels brah"

Old school, a torque wrench was also known as a tension wrench.

Yep, good job. BTW with multi-reporters on staff wandering the pits (Murph, Riana, Larko/Andrew J, Lowndes) why does Neil come out of the box for a brisk walk-n-talk with camera after practice and the race ? Sort of deems them inadequate...

Another less than inspiring weekend of racing.

Great for both Heimgartner and ADP to get podiums though.

Another superb 1-2 result by DJRTP.

What a magnificent performance; and symbolic of Johnson and Bowe in the Sierras 30 years before.

I'm from Germany and in my point of view Supercars has the best motorsport broadcast in the world. I dont know anything about what happens in backround but I don't know any other series where I get so good information and commentary. If you would know german F1 commentary you would be happy about what you have here.
Cheers

DJR Untouchable.
Not sure what happened with the pit stops.
Scotty Mc so humble and would never torch his team
Great Ambassador for Supercars across the board.

Anton, a great drive, well deserved.

Zero relevance.

This season alone, the damage accrued, was not directly Mr Jones' fault.

Unfortunately the best thing that could have happened to Macca, being kicked out of the nest, has now past.

Agreed.

In that team, he'll never succeed beyond mediocrity. Which is shame, because he seems like a good young kid with a lot of potential.

Old as in near end of life, not old as in last year.
Are the budgets at 888 as strong as in past years?

So the Red Bull sponsored factory Holden is short on budget??? God help everyone else then.

Given how much they were struggling with aero balance is it not possible they are not dealing well with a centre of pressure that is too far aft and cant get the aero balance/rake/suspension tune correct.
