DaveGT6 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Classic Sports Car Club Silverstone 10/11 May

Two races this coming weekend for Jon and me. Sunday's activities include the second of this season's Classic K one hour races and the Swinging Sixties series split into two grids due to the number of entries.

I'll be taking up my post on the pit wall for the Classic K race and hanging out the board for Jon in his Falcon. There are 27 entries ranging from Elans, MGBs, 911s to Galaxie, Mustang, Griffith with various Triumphs, Ginettas and Healeys all thrown in for good measure. In the last race my time on the pit wall was made significantly more lively by an E-Type bursting into flames in the pit lane! Oh and of course the excitement of Jon's excellent drive.

I'm also getting a chance behind the wheel in Jon's Tuscan in the Swinging Sixties race. 29 entries in the first group and 22 in the second so there's plenty to keep folks busy in the paddock and on the circuit.

If anyone's passing by come and say hello - hopefully we'll get into a garage with both cars.

Also races for Future Classics (over subscribed, with reserves) and Modern Classics (and I think there's something like 28 on that grid) so a good day out with a good mix of cars.

Is there a timetable/entry list online? I can't see one on the CSCC site.

Here you go. I presume you are asking to know when the church bells will be sounding?

Can't see one on the entry list Al. Presumably you were expecting there to be one?

Al,

There were 2 Camaros in the Swinging Sixties and mighty good they were too!

Great day's racing today and I'm sure work is going to be a real let down on Monday!

Thanks to all at CSCC for a great meeting.

Hey Gang, I trust you all got home okay - was that as 'breezy' for you guys as it was for me? few times I struggled to stand up let alone hold the camera still lol.

Anyway, galleries are now up

Saturday

Sunday

Have to agree there was some really good battles in all classes and the rain held off for the most part which was a real bonus (8 hours standing on the edge of any circuit when the weathers bad wears a little thin after a while - trust me) Thanks for looking and hope to see you all at Brands.

.DAVID.
