Stop the press ! Oreca to claim a victory with Audi !
Stop the press ! The french radio France-Info confirmed last hour (Hugues de Chaunac interview) that Oreca will claim a victory at LM in 2005 with Audi France partnership !
Three french pilots are expected (could mean that it will be only one car). I'll merged with the main Audi thread at noon, when you've read this. |

Are you saying that it's official (Oreca-Audi France), or that Oreca's de Chaunac thinks the victory is certain already? Perhaps a slight problem in translation here.

It sounds offical to me. IF it is ture it will be interesting to see how they go againest the Champion car/s.

Read on Ouest France & Maine Libre (the two local newspapers) and saw the photo of De Chaunac shaking hands with Dr Ullrich last week at Essen Press Conference.
IT'S OFFICIAL !!!!! And Playstation gonna be the main sponsor !!! (bad news for Pescarolo...) |

Good news for Oreca, will be intresting to see what they can do with the cars. Can anyone challenge Audis dominance next year? Id put my money on the Zytek's having a good crack. 2005 is gonna be good.

A thought occurs to me. If the ORECA car is to be crewed by three French drivers, where will Frank Biela end up? The ALMS?
