Lars should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Next Weekend

Can't wait...

Friday after Shortie gets done w/summer school, were heading to the Milwaukee Mile for Craftsman Truck practice & qualifying. After that we will be going to a March of Dimes fund raiser were a lot of the Busch & CTS drivers will be there!

Saturday we will be at the track all day for the GNC Live Well 200 Craftsman Truck race & Busch practice & qualifying. I don't think Matt is running in the Busch race this year, otherwise I would have heard by now. Will be the 1st time since before he joined Reiser Enterprises. Lack of sponsorship this year.

& Sunday it's the GNC Live Well 250 Nascar Busch race!!!

Sounds like a good week-end

I hope you "guys" have a lot of fun,
I enjoy the Busch & the Trucks, those guys try harder because most of them want to get to Winston Cup,
I'll watch for you & Shortie on the telly (be sure to wave at me, lmao).

You might get to see Jack Sprague (Busch) & Mike Bliss (Trucks) win this weekend,
(I had to add my picks, lol).

I hated Jack Sprague at first, Ron Hornaday was my fave Truck driver, when Ron won the Championship and Jack won the last race, they spun around in the grass and saluted each other, that was a class act, I then realized I had my new fave in the Trucks (Ron was leaving the Trucks), Jack is a tough driver and very aggressive, when Jack went on to Busch he became my Busch fave. I still like Ron Hornaday but he seems to be snake-bit with bad luck (Maybe Ron should have stayed in the Trucks). Mike Bliss is now my Truck fave because he is a good talented driver and a bit of an underdog.

Day one was a blast so far!!! Shortie & I made it down to State Fair Park about 12:45, just in time to watch the 2nd practice for the trucks. We also watched qualifying & the 1st half of happy hour. Congrats to Terry Cook on his fast lap! Teddy will be starting 2nd today! Shortie was happy that we got 20 autographs at the March of Dimes fund rasier too. I was hoping for a call from them after I got home to tell me I won the raffle to be on Kenny Wallace's pit crew for the weekend. Damn...no call! LOL. Shortie got her picture taken with some of the drivers, Casey Mears, Hank Parker Jr., Kenny Wallace and a few others. She took a pic of me & Teddy Musgrave too. Kewl! Talk 2 ya'll later!

Day Two: Tired & have a nasty headache...too many MGD's I guess...lol. Race wasn't as exciting as in the past until Nascar threw out the 'ol debris caution with about 30 to go. Terry Cook had pretty much opened up a can of whoop arse & Teddy was the only one within 1/2 a lap of him. That caution would have cost Terry the race & it did cost Teddy 2nd place but the race got excitin' after that. Terry was on a hard charge to catch new race leader Jason Leffler but was running out of laps until someone (haven't checked who it was yet) spun out in turn 4 with 3 to go. Going extra laps with the green/white/checkers...woohoo!!! Good for Terry & Teddy!! Terry easily got but Jason in turn 2 on the restart, with a little bump & banging. Teddy was able to nove up from 7th to 5th...bumping & banging with David Starr on the last lap & taking over the point lead by a few points!!! It was a tight fight to the start/finish w/Teddy barely edging him out. Go Teddy!!!! & Congrats to Terry, it was his race.

Way to go also for the #60 team & Biffle for winning the pole for Tomorrow's race!!!

PS- Thinking of ya CD!!!! *hugs* 2 U & L!!!!

2 in a row @ the mile for Biff!!! 1st time there has been a repeat winner in the Busch or Trucks @ Milwaukee. I hated it for Scottie Wimmer though...was actually hoping he could pull it off if Biff didn't win. He had them beat too until that caution came out with about 25 to go. I won't even tell you what I think of Jack Sprague...Grrrr. LOL. I know Rosie won't like this, but man, every race I've seen Kerry Earnhardt race in...the boy ends up in the wall. It's not that he doesn't have pop's mean genes, he just doesn't have the ju-ju it takes to race IMO. BTW...his wife is smokin' hot though!!!! She was with him when he was signing autographs today...*G*. Also got Larry Mac's & Jeff Hammond's too...they where in the same trailor signing. Was able to score Phil Parson's on Friday when him & Dr. Jerry Punch walked by us after qualifying.

Was just reading some stuff from Nascar Online talking about the heat today...to add to my last post, it was smokin' hot out 2 day @ the Mile too...lol. You know it's hot out when a guy from South Carolina (Jason Keller) complains about the heat up here...oech!

Hey Lars- It's OK to say what you want about Kerry. I fear that you are right.
I would LIKE him to be like his dad. But it just doesn't seem so. That's OK- I am happy with Jr- I think he will be "THE DUDE" in years to come!

Well .....
In Kerry's defense I must say Kerry looked like he had a top 10 or maybe even a top 5 finish going when Shane Hmiel stuck his head up his ... and lost it under Kerry putting Kerry into the wall, Shane was driving over his head again and Kerry paid the price for Shane's stupidity, don't write Kerry off so fast, I think he has his father's genes and all he needs is a little good luck for a change, JMO.

I didn't know the reason for Kerry's crash & it sounds like it wasn't his fault, but a top 5 car??? Even if the car was capable of keeping up with the #60, #57 & the #23, not sure if Kerry would have been able to keep it up there. Seemed to me he was always going backwards yesterday & when he was near the front it was because of pit strategy. I may be wrong about the pit stops?

Heck- I wouldn't really know- I didn't even get to see the race. I had a crappy weekend!

I would love it if he would have some luck. But it just doesn't seem so. Maybe if he can get this year under his belt- he can show what he is made of in the future.

Kerry is showing that he is gaining experience, I've been watching him closely, Kerry is "driving smart" and could be a contender for a victory in the near future, JMO.
