Formula Racing series in Russia

There are a lot of promising drivers from Russia: Kvyat, Sirotkin, Orudzhev.

Are there any current Formula Racing series in Russia? For young drivers or any Formula races?

Shame. Russia had a very good racing structure in the past, even with an own F1 series!

What about the other east-european countries? Are there any Formula Series left? In Hungary there was the E2000 series where Channoch Nissany and Tamás Pál Kiss drove, but I think they isn't existing yet. Any other series?

I don't know anything new, but Russia is quite big, the season isn't as long as in EU and it's a bit hard logistically to create a series. There are new race circuits from Vladivostok(next to Japan) to St. Petersburg(next to Finland). So it's not like organizing let's say a Czech F4
Hopefully they can do something together with the touring car championship...

Russia has about five new modern circuits: Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Smolensk, Kazan, Sochi. Some have already hosted international events. For a regional junior series that's probably plenty. Russia hosts F1, DTM, WTCC, races as well as the Russian touring car championship. The single seater formula could easily be used as a support race for any of these events.

From my Cyrillic knowledge it seems 2013 champion of Formula Russia is Stanislav Burmistrov.

Yes. Tereshchenko & Korneev also came from this championship. They've been trying to start it since 2010...
@JacobP They've got also several other tracks which can host single-seater races, no worse than say Franciacorta... it'll take time everything to develop
