If the worst-case-scenario (sound wise) was I4, then that is a step up from that.

Yes, I'm sure they will. Let's just hope that they get it right.

According to Motorsport Total, Mike Conway has a good chance of snatching up one of the remaining Porsche seats.
Nick Heidfeld & Pierre Kaffer are being mentioned as well, Lucas Luhr's chances are apparently fading away which I personally find surprising. |

http://www.racer.com/conway-interest...rticle/313581/ I'm sure he's just looking for whatever the best offer is. Personally I'd love to see him at Porsche. Kaffer and Luhr just sounds like people throwing German drivers into the conversation because of their nationality. |

I still think Luhr would be a logical choice. Former Porsche works driver, one of the quickest guys in LMPs out there.

What else is is about then? Luhr has worked for Porsche, Audi & various other teams, I'm sure he has more knowledge to contribute to the development than most of these young drivers.

Also, interesting to note that Porsche are looking for 6 drivers for the full WEC campaign when everyone suggested they'd only use 2+2 for the shorter races. |

Looks like Hartley is man five. Good choice I think. He will make mistakes initially but he will be blisteringly fast with it.

I have met Hartley on track already in his F.Renault days and he was really impressive.
I donĀ“t know how he was kicked out of Red Bull program, although he is not the first fast driver to come to this end. But i really wish he can have this chance with Porsche, i think he really deserves it. |

Not sure if new, but it seems the consensus is they're running a twin turbo ~2 liter flat-4 engine http://letertrerouge.blogspot.fr/201...stics.html?m=1

New. I think the Auto Hedbo claim was mentioned earlier but without a link as it was apparently in the print magazine only.

I think its a 1.6 I4 not a 2.0 opposed 4. Couldn't say for sure though.
