Glyn Willliams, BARC NW Marshal of the Year
At the "Real Night Out" yesterday evening Glyn Williams was presented with the BARC North West Centre marshal of the year award.
I know everybody who knows him will want join me in congratulating a very worthy winner - long overdue & thoroughly deserved. |

Ok, Time for a Glyn anecdote
In the Sun lounge of the salen hotel, slumbers a Mustachioed marshal, miraculously his pint of caffreys cradled in his lap is unspilt. A cruel heartless joker shouts in our heros ear "FIRE 1 SCRAMBLE" Glyn goes from unconcious to alert and reaching for the ignition key in 0.00001 of a second, pint of caffreys clutched in his other hand, still unspilt! A man of many talents and clarity of mind Mind you, he is allways the last out of the hotel when there is a convoy of cars waiting to go |
