DMN Lydden 28/29 July.

Hi All,

I know we haven't got Castle Combe out of the way yet but the closing date for Lydden is fast approaching. There are still many of you who haven't entered so please please get your entries in.

DMN are running on the Sunday only before you all start complaining about it being over two days and things.

Over the whole weekend we have Caterhams in the shape of the Classic, Super and Mega Graduates, the Dayton Manor MG Metros, the Powertech Radical Challenge, DMN, Tin-tops and Sports and Saloons...I'm sure theres something else but I can't think of it at the moment!

Please get your entries in quickly!

You have the challenge and I think have your own tin-tops round also...but I may be wrong about that. There is a provisional time-table floating round but I'm at work and then have committee meeting tonight so won't able to confirm.

There is space in everything at the moment.

Also if you are entering a second race then the fee will be at a discounted rate...don't ask me what it is right now I can't remember!

I remember - I did the DMN too and you only just stayed behind me in that tintops race!

Duly noted though

Ok those of you interested in entering a second category at Lydden the fee for the 1st one is £135 and then the second is £75.

Also please note that we have put the current entry levels up on the BARC website for all remaining rounds. This will be updated regularly so that you can see how things are filling up. The remaining Brands rounds are already half full or more. Entry levels can be found:

Yes - I had to start dead last, as I practised in another car. I believe that you came 3rd, and i was 4th, but ran out of time. In the earlier race, my brother finished 2nd in the car behind an M3, but just in front of Bill. Brother is back out again this year, and has entered for Lydden - Only he has a new engine for this year - not for me to say, but I've seen the printout - lets just say It's impressive !

p.s. I've bought aTomcat now too, but it needs some work before it's ready for play - I'm sticking with the Ashtray for TinTops.

Right, the tin tops have two races on Sunday only. They form the second part of the challenge with the CSCC tin tops. DMN, sports/saloons, Drayton MGs and two Caterham classes are also racing on Sunday. The timetable has had various tweaks (five versions to my knowledge) but is hopefully now settled. BUT it does depend on entry levels, don't leave it until after the closing date as this causes Chezza a lot of grief....be warned!

Hear hear!

You guys cannot complain regarding the splits at Lydden and also if you are a reserve at other rounds etc if you are entering after the closing date. If you want us to help you then you have to help us.

Closing date for Lydden is 14/07/08. Therefore you have to get you entries in for Lydden before Combe to be gauranteed of a place on the grid. PLEASE ENTER BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE, it doesn't matter if you have problems from combe as it is easier if you withdraw than enter late. I cannot emphasise this enough.

Wow, £75 is cheap! I've sent an entry in for tintops, but am tempted to send another in for DMN too. The extra track time would be very nice, just worried about the car lasting the distance.

Thats a lot to get through on a sunday ( cant start practise at Lydden until 12:30) we'd better all behave ourselves !

Probably got room for 1 each side - have you got any white/silver ones to go on the black ? - even better have you got any Team Desperados induced dent shaped ones for the drivers side. also some sort of Pug repellent would be handy. If you could either bring them down to Lydden on 29th, or to the start of the Nurburgring 700, I'll stick them on !
